Manifesting Updates - October 2014

For the past two months I have been listening to Neville Goddard lectures at the rate of about two a day.
Is it doing any good?
I would say yes.
I have seen some things happen that there are really no good logical reasons for.
I mean fairly big manifestations that have happened in a few hours.

So what am I doing?
You know I have always said if I found something that works I would share it.

First, every day about 2:00 or 3:00 I lay down.
I repeat "I am" over and over and over until it feels like it's finished.
I know that's hard to explain...but it feels like it's time to stop.

Second,  I know there are a lot of variations of this, but I repeat "Wonderful things are happening for *us* right now."
"Something wonderful is happening" wasn't working.
And I had real results when I switched from "for me" to "for us".
Results as in not only did I start having great things happen, but so did other people that are connected to me.
And sometimes their good fortune spilled over onto me.

Also, I began to "play" with the idea that everything I said happened.
Just imagine that you are God.
And your every thought, wish, will comes true.
Trust me, you will pay a lot closer attention to your thoughts.

Synchronization...things keep popping up.
One major thing is a Bible verse.
I thought of it one day.
Then the next day, Neville quoted it in a lecture I was listening to.
Then I ran across it again online.
Then I was reading a chapter in the Bible, looking at a totally unrelated subject ..and sure enough that was the same chapter that the verse appears in.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:11

When the verse shows up that many times, it's trying to tell you something.

Facts Overflow The World - Neville Goddard

Facts Overflow The World was a lecture given by Neville Goddard on November 19th, 1971.
Pretty interesting lecture that for one thing, goes into what the story of Noah's ark really represented.

If you have never heard Neville I wouldn't recommend starting out with this one though.
A little background on what he taught is necessary I think to really get this one.

Neville Goddard - A Standing Order

With Easter being tomorrow I thought I would post this.
Actually I meant to post it a couple of days ago but got caught up in other things.
It's kind of like Neville Goddard's "Easter Message"...

Neville Goddard - Prayer, The Art Of Believing

I just got finished reading Neville Goddard's Prayer, The Art Of Believing.
As you know if you have read any of Neville's books...he does not mince words.
His "speech" may seem flowery or even archaic to us now... but I like it.

Neville Goddard, Prayer The Art Of Believing, Neville, prayer, manifesting reality

One thing he said about prayer keeps sticking in my mind and I thought I would post it here....

"Another very effective way to pray for oneself is to use the formula of Job who found that his own captivity was removed as he prayed for his friends.
Fix your attention on a friend and have the imaginary voice of your friend tell you that he is, or has that which is comparable to that which you desire to be or have.
As you mentally hear and see him, feel the thrill of his good fortune and sincerely wish him well.
This awakens in him the corresponding vibration of the state affirmed, which vibration must then objectify itself as a physical fact.
You will discover the truth of the statement, “Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.” “The quality of mercy is twice blessed— it blesses him who taketh and him who giveth.”
The good you subjectively accept as true of others will not only be expressed by them, but a full share will be realized by you."

Test Yourselves - Neville Goddard

Test Yourselves - Neville Goddard

I read this today and the words really jumped out at me.
I don't know if this is meant for me, or someone else to read but here it is.

It's the first part of Neville's lecture titled "Test Yourselves"....

"Faith is not complete until through experiment it becomes experience. God's promise cannot be tested. It cannot be earned, for it is given by grace. But your faith will be increased when you experiment, when you test God's law. It is easier to accept the Christian faith than to live by it, but you must live by it for your faith to grow'

In his 2nd letter to the Corinthians, Paul is speaking to the whole world when he says: "Examine yourselves to see if you are holding to the faith. Test yourselves' Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless of course you fail to meet the test. I hope you will discover that we have not failed."

Now, in the earliest gospel, the Gospel of Mark, we find these words: "The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of heaven is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." The word "repent" means "a radical change of attitude (of thinking) towards anything that you either dislike or want to change." A radical change on your part will produce a corresponding change in your outer world. So now you are urged to examine yourself to see whether you are holding to the faith. Are you accepting as facts the headlines you see in the paper? The telephone call you just received' The morning's mail or the news on TV which suggest unlovely, horrible things to you? A friend calls, and pouring out all the bilge in the world tells you how bad things are and how they are destined to get worse. As you listen, their woes enter and are assumed by you. Now, if you understand this law that imaging creates reality, you should, like a computer, choose what you are going to allow to enter. And when the conversation is finished and your friend's voice is still fresh and clear in your ear, hear her changed words, the changed tone of her voice, and feel the joy emitted there."

Note what I have highlighted.

How to Manifest Reality, Part One

How to start this......

How do you Manifest Reality?

What works?

What doesn't?

Let's look at some of the "Masters" of Manifesting.......

First, Neville Goddard

How to Manifest Reality, Part One

"The first step in changing the future is Desire, that is, define your objective -- know definitely what you want."
Second: construct an event which you believe you would encounter FOLLOWING the fulfillment of your desire - an event which implies fulfillment of your desire - something which will have the action of Self predominant.
The third step is to immobilize the physical body and induce a state akin to sleep. Then mentally feel yourself right into the proposed action, imagine all the while that you are actually performing the action HERE AND NOW. You must participate in the imaginary action, not merely stand back and look on, but FEEL that you are actually performing the action, so that the imaginary sensation is real to you.
It is important always to remember that the proposed action must be one which FOLLOWS the fulfillment of your desire, one which implies fulfillment. For example, suppose you desired promotion in office. Then being congratulated would be an event you would encounter following the fulfillment of your desire."

"If you cannot concentrate on an act, if you cannot snuggle into your chair and believe the chair is elsewhere, just as though elsewhere were here, then do this: Reduce the idea, condense it to a single, simple phrase like, "Isn't it wonderful." or, "Thank you." or, "It's done." or, "It's finished."
There should not be more than three words. Something that implies the desire is already realized. "Isn't it wonderful", or "Thank you," certainly imply that. These are not all the phrases you could use. Make up out of your own vocabulary the phrase which best suits you. But make it very, very short and always use a phrase that implies fulfillment of the idea.
When you have your phrase in mind, lift the cloud. Let the cloud ascend by simply inducing the state that borders on sleep. Simply begin to imagine and feel you are sleepy, and in this state assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Then repeat the phrase over and over like a lullaby. Whatever the phrase is, let it imply that the assumption is true, that it is concrete, that it is already a fact and you know it."

Neville also said that you can go to sleep at night in the feeling that the desire is fulfilled.

You should "go about your father's business" during the day, but KNOW that the desire is already fulfilled.

Neville also talked about revision.
When something doesn't go the way you want, stop a moment and change it hearing and feeling the outcome you want.
Example: You get a phone call. The person on your phone says your application (just an example) is rejected.
As soon as you hang up the phone, stop and imagine the phone call, this time with the person saying that your application is accepted.
Don't stop there, feel it as real right now.
You can also do this before sleep, go over the whole day in your head and correct anything that didn't go your way. Don't just "X" it out, feel that what you wanted DID happen.
Keep doing this every night before sleep.

Of course this is just the tip of the iceberg with Neville's teachings.

Wallace D. Wattles, Neville Goddard and Dattatreya Siva Baba

I didn't do a January mantra update because things had sorta hit a plateau.
Things were going better, but after four months of daily practice I wasn't moving forward anymore.
So I decided to review things to see what was needed.
I went back and started watching The Secret and then it hit me.
If The Secret was inspired by Wallace D. Wattles' "The Science of Getting Rich", why hadn't I read the source material yet?
So I set out to do that.
It took me two days to read it. And that's because I had to stop several times. It's a very quick read.
And when I read it, I kept seeing correlations between TSOGR and Neville Goddard's work. Actually, I think they compliment each other.
And I saw connections between the mantras, Dattatreya Siva Baba and TSOGR.
In the preface Wallace D. Wattles even makes the connection himself.....

Wallace D. Wattles, Neville Goddard and Dattatreya Siva Baba

" The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world -is of Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the western world for two hundred years."

The best way though for you to see the connections is to read the book yourself.
Can't afford it?
Can't get out to get it?
Not a problem.
You can go to http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Science_of_Getting_Rich and read the entire book online for free!
And I have posted links to free Neville lectures before, but here you go anyway http://realneville.com/text_archive_pdf.htm
Again you can read it online....for free.

Compare TSOGR with Neville and Dattatreya Siva Baba and look for the similarity not the difference.

Another Mantra Update

Well I went to the Doctor Monday and passed all the tests.
Did the mantras help?
Who knows.
Did they hurt?
I'm guessing no.
Again as with work, I don't just expect the mantras to carry me through everything. I do things for my health as well.
I'm always finding new things and posting them on my natural cancer cures blog. I try to follow that and eat what I know will help.
But like I said before, the good teachers will tell you that you have to take some type of action to go along with your intent.
If just sitting and thinking did it, I'd be a billionaire now.
Before anyone brings it up, yes Neville Goddard advocated action too. You had to "act" as though what you wanted was already here.

Mantra Updates

Okay, I have been using the " Shreem" mantra to attract wealth, the "Thiru Neela Kantam" mantra to dissolve bad karma and Wayne Dyer's "Meditations of Manifesting" CD.
Has anything happened?
Yes.
I can't really say that money has fallen from the sky, but there have been a few "coincidences" that are starting to pile up onto of each other.
For example.....
Getting a bill, calling the place, talking to the people there and discovering that the bill is actually less than what they thought.
Saved ten dollars.
Counting money twice, then handing it to a cashier, they count it and hand you back money saying you over paid them.
Saved twenty dollars.
Online business (affiliate sales, ads etc) taking an upwards turn.
Getting a check in the mail that I didn't think I would get till next month.
Like I said, a million dollars hasn't appeared out of nowhere (yet), but things do seem to be working.
Of course there have been setbacks, but somehow the setbacks seem to get balanced out.
The main thing is that when TSHTF, don't freak out!
Use what you have learned.
If you haven't checked out Dattatreya Siva Baba's channel on YouTube, give it a look.
Watch his videos, you'll see him address the "I Am" that Neville spoke about, and many references from the Bible.
Like I said before, this changing your vibrational frequency to match the proper frequency (via sound-mantras) does make sense to me.

Doubt...the greatest sin of all?

Neville Goddard said Doubt was the greatest sin of all.
And it makes sense doesn't it?
Here we are worshiping a Higher Power, but the second TSHTF we panic!
How many different variations of Matthew Chapter 7, verse 7 do we need to hear?
7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

I say "variations of", because this thread runs all through manifesting techniques.

The second most important thing......
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive

Yes it doesn't say SOME things.
It says ALL things.

Believe, do not doubt. Even though your senses tell you "no".
Faith. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word means essentially steadfastness.

Neville taught to get caught up in the mood. Imagine your desire right here, right now fulfilled.
Don't look at it as through a camera, be IN it as though an actor. Don't see yourself being handed money, being in good health.
FEEL yourself being handed money. FEEL yourself being healthy.
Don't worry about how it will happen.
Just know that inside you, it already has.

The Secret, Neville and Anthony Robbins

A lot of people rag Anthony Robbins.
Yes he sells books, DVDs, CDs, he's appeared in movies and they even ripped him on "Family Guy".
But I am convinced the guy knows his stuff.
His technique is a little different from most of " The Secret" clones.
And he was around WAY before The Secret.
Tony preaches positive thought, but also positive action.
You can sit in a room thinking " I'm a millionaire" all you want, but until you take positive action, the universe wont have a way to get that million to you.
David Schirmer (who was in The Secret) is a wealth coach, entrepreneur, private share investor and trader. He has acknowledged Robbins' effects on him.
http://davidschirmer.blogspot.com/2007/09/my-first-day-with-tony-robbins.html

Yeah I know Schirmer has run into trouble. One thing you have to realize, is that even if a person embraces manifestation and understands it, they are HUMAN and make mistakes. Your job as a human is to see what they did right and wrong. Learn from their mistakes. You can also, according to Neville, try to work in the spiritual realm to help them see their mistakes and work things out.

Anyway, back to Tony....
I think he was really the first positive thinking author I read. Oh I'd read Carlos Castaneda and his stuff really freaked me out, but Robbins taught HOW to apply his teachings to life.
Tony is a big man. Some people don't realize he's 6 feet 7 inches tall, that's one inch shorter than the WWE's Kane. He really has an imposing presence, he gets your attention.
The one thing I read in Tony's books that has really stuck with me is " A real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided."
This goes back to what I posted earlier about " Right Now". Do it now, not tomorrow or next week or next month.
Positive decision, positive action.

Lots of his sayings sound like they came from Neville or Trowel or Wattles.
"Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Human beings have the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that dis-empowers them or one that can literally save their lives."
"Take control of your consistent emotions and begin to consciously and deliberately reshape your daily experience of life."
"The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment. "
"We can change our lives. We can do, have, and be exactly what we wish. "

Tony's main points, as opposed to some others, seems to be focus, commitment and action.
As always though, you can read what he says with an objective eye. Don't accept his every word as gospel.
Like I have said before, I see all this like Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do.
Try something, if it works, keep it.
If it doesn't, throw it away and replace it with something else.
The thing is keep trying!
