Ara Kara - by Dr. Pillai

Dr. Pillai (who we used to know as Dattatreya Siva Baba) has put up a video on YouTube with his Ara Kara mantra.
You may remember this mantra because I have discussed it here a few times.
While it did nothing for me personally, Wayne Dyer and a lot of other folks swear by it.

Ara Kara is supposed to be the sound used for removing the concept of impossibility, thus allowing material and spiritual manifestation to take place.

All I can tell you is to give it a try if you want.
Like I said, I had no results to speak of but I have heard a lot of people say they did.

The Ara Kara Mantra Revisited

The most popular subject on this blog by far is "Ara Kara".
Now this leads me to wonder.....
Is it because so many people want to learn about it?
Or is it because so many people have had success with it?

The Ara Kara Mantra

Now you know in my limited time working with the chant, I really didn't have much success.
But you also may recall that I saw on one of Dattatreya Siva Baba's YouTube videos that I was doing it wrong.
Well I was doing it Wayne Dyer's way, and since Dattatreya taught Wayne Dyer, I figured I was doing it right.
Of course he taught Wayne the "Ahh meditation" not Ara Kara I suppose.

Anyway, here you can see Dattatreya himself demonstrating the mantra.....

Now, has anyone out there had any success with the Ara Kara mantra?

How to Manifest Reality, Part Two

Wayne Dyer, like Neville Goddard, has several manifesting techniques.

How to Manifest Reality, Part Two

One is intention.
You intend for the desired thing to happen.
"I INTEND to be healthy."
As opposed to Neville's "I AM healthy".

Dr.Dyer also advocates thinking from the end, seeing your desire as already done.

But one of his most famous techniques is the Japa meditation using the sound of "Ahh".
I've written about the Ahh meditation here before, but let's recap.
This meditation was given to Wayne Dyer years ago by Dattatreya Siva Baba.

1.Pick your goal
2. Sit down and imagine a column of energy starting at your root chakra, going up your spine to the third eye (between and slightly above your
eyes).
3. Now, close your eyes and say the sound "Ahh" out loud while imagining the sound traveling up from your root chakra to the 3rd eye.
Picture what you want in your third eye and send the sound of "Ahh" into it.

I have seen it recommended to do this 20 minutes a day.

Dr Dyer has two CDs that I know about, using the Ahh meditation, " Meditations For Manifesting" and "Getting in the Gap".

Of course this is a VERY simpified version of Dr Dyer's teaching.
You can go to his website here: http://www.drwaynedyer.com/ to learn more.

New Age Quotes

Fear arises through identification with form, whether it be a material possession, a physical body, a social role, a self-image, a thought, or an emotion. It arises through unawareness of the formless inner dimension of consciousness or spirit, which is the essence of who you are. You are trapped in object consciousness, unaware of the dimension of inner space which alone is true freedom. - Eckhart Tolle

The secret of attraction is to love yourself. Attractive people judge neither themselves nor others. They are open to gestures of love. They think about love, and express their love in every action. They know that love is not a mere sentiment, but the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe. - Deepak Chopra

Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice. - Wayne Dyer

A man has to learn that he cannot command things, but that he can command himself; that he cannot coerce the wills of others, but that he can mold and master his own will: and things serve him who serves Truth; people seek guidance of him who is master of himself. - James Allen

Every thought we think is creating our future. - Louise L Hayes

I am a Westerner. We're not going to change the West by going East. The East has a lot to teach us, but essentially it's like a mirror, saying, hey, can't you see what's here in your own religion, what are you, stupid? - Matthew Fox

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - Marianne Williamson

The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists. - Linda Goodman

When you talk about what you want and why you want it, there's usually less resistance within you than when you talk about what you want and how you're going to get it. When you pose questions you don't have answers for, like how, where, when, who, it sets up a contradictory vibration that slows everything down. - Esther Hicks

December Updates on Mantras

Okay, it's been awhile so I thought I would update everyone on how things are going with the Mantra tests.
First off, what I am doing......
Using Wayne Dyer's "Ahhh" meditation in the AM, the mantra's "Shreem", "Om Brzee Namaha", "Thiru Neela Kantam", Using Dattatreya Siva Baba's "Ahhh" meditation and "How to Compress Time for Manifestation" in the evening.
I've also been using a few other mantras on and off and studying Vedic Astrology a bit.
I've used the " Ara Kara" very little, but I'm thinking about using it more.
Bottom line......
Someone I haven't spoken to in ages called. I had been meditating on this person during the Ahhh meditation.
My online business has gone from 31 per cent of my goal when I started in October to 40 per cent in December.
Am I just chanting?
No.
I am working too.
Both Wayne Dyer and Dattatreya Siva Baba say to keep on doing things while you do the mantras. Don't expect the mantras to do everything.
As far as my health goes, I have a Doctors appointment Monday, so I'll relay what is said there. I actually started these mantras after my last appointment.
So that about wraps it up for now. I'll be updating later.
Before I forget though, there is a young lady in Australia that has put several mantras on her YouTube channel so that you can actually hear them and chant along to get the feel.
Her name is Mathina Maideen and her channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/MathinaMaideen

Mantra Updates

Okay, I have been using the " Shreem" mantra to attract wealth, the "Thiru Neela Kantam" mantra to dissolve bad karma and Wayne Dyer's "Meditations of Manifesting" CD.
Has anything happened?
Yes.
I can't really say that money has fallen from the sky, but there have been a few "coincidences" that are starting to pile up onto of each other.
For example.....
Getting a bill, calling the place, talking to the people there and discovering that the bill is actually less than what they thought.
Saved ten dollars.
Counting money twice, then handing it to a cashier, they count it and hand you back money saying you over paid them.
Saved twenty dollars.
Online business (affiliate sales, ads etc) taking an upwards turn.
Getting a check in the mail that I didn't think I would get till next month.
Like I said, a million dollars hasn't appeared out of nowhere (yet), but things do seem to be working.
Of course there have been setbacks, but somehow the setbacks seem to get balanced out.
The main thing is that when TSHTF, don't freak out!
Use what you have learned.
If you haven't checked out Dattatreya Siva Baba's channel on YouTube, give it a look.
Watch his videos, you'll see him address the "I Am" that Neville spoke about, and many references from the Bible.
Like I said before, this changing your vibrational frequency to match the proper frequency (via sound-mantras) does make sense to me.

Wayne Dyer, "Getting in the Gap" and "Meditations for Manifesting"

I bought two CD/Books this week.
"Getting in the Gap" and "Meditations for Manifesting" both by Wayne Dyer.
Both are good, but "Getting in the Gap" could have really been just a CD with liner notes.
Don't get me wrong, they both have good info, but they are repetitious.
Not all of Dr. Dyers stuff is like that. I've read several of his books and they are full of good information.
But with "Getting in the Gap", I could give you the whole technique in one blog entry.
I liked "Meditations for Manifesting" because I need someone to chant along with so to speak.
It annoys some people but it helps me.
Also, it's kinda like having your own Guru working with you.
Now the rumors I hear about the "Meditations for Manifesting" CD is that it starts working in about 15 days.....
I'll let you know.

The Ahh Meditation and Dattatreya Siva Baba

Remember awhile back I said i tested the Ahh meditation and it didn't work well?
Actually it was disastrous.
Well I found out I was doing it wrong!
Yep, that would do it.
Anyway, I found a video on YouTube of Dattatreya Siva Baba (The man that taught it to Wayne Dyer) doing the Ahh meditation.
He talks you through it and shows you just how it is done.

The link to the video is here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7SaisE81TI

I'm giving it another try, now that I know how to do it....LOL

The Top Ten in Manifesting

The Top Ten in Manifesting

Who are the top ten most searched out manifestation " Gurus"?
The results may surprise you.....

Eckhart Tolle
Okay, with the Oprah Boost, that one really didn't surprise me much.
First book, The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment, 1999

Deepak Chopra
Kinda surprising since in today's short attention span world, he really doesn't seem to do a lot of PR.
First book, Creating Health, 1987.

Sylvia Browne
Really? Do some research on the person before believing everything she says.
First book: Adventures of a Psychic, 1990.

Wayne Dyer
Okay, I really like Wayne Dyer.
First book: Counseling Techniques That Work, 1975.

Edgar Cayce
I really bounce back and forth on him. I have seen some of his cures work, but I know a lot of his predictions failed.

James Allen
Amazed at this one actually. But "As a Man Thinketh", (1902) is still one of the benchmarks in manifestation writing.

Matthew Fox
First book: On Becoming a Musical, Mystical Bear: Spirituality American Style (1972)? I guess that's why it was republished as Prayer: A Radical Response to Life in 2001.

Carlos Castaneda
If he were a boxer, he'd have been Carlos "Controversy" Castaneda. So many things revolving around his later life and death.
First book: The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge, 1968.

Louise Hay
Motivational author, and the founder of Hay House.
First book: Wrote little pamphlet called “Heal Your Body” which became a book, "You Can Heal Your Life"in 1984. Right now there are about 35 million copies in print around the world in over 30 languages.

Napoleon Hill
One of the pioneers of personal success literature.
Think and Grow Rich (1937) has sold over 30 million copies, and was re-released in 2004 as Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised.

How can you do whats already done?

Neville Goddard spoke of "I AM".

Neville Goddard spoke of "I AM".
It's the ability to say "I am" what I desire right now. Not in the future, not in the past, but right now it is done.

Those of you that embrace Eckhart Tolle's teachings will recognize "being in the now".
" I am rich." right now.
" I am healed" right now.
You have to believe it, even though you don't see it.

What is it Wayne Dyer says " You'll see it when you believe it." ?
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22
Believing though is the key right? How can you when everyone and everything says " No!" ?
Well, I don't recall anyone saying it's easy.
If you lived in the mountains alone and no one bothered you, maintaining focus would be easier. But most likely you don't. You live in a city or town where you have people, TV, movies and in my opinion the worse downers of them all, news and commercials.
What do you do?
You maintain.
Using the term " fight" seems out of place, but it is a fight within yourself.

The Warrior has awakened. He surveys the war raging before him. He sees the teaming legions mounted against him.
Facing immeasurable odds, he draws his sword and smiles. In a low voice he says to himself...."They are doomed now."

You have to remember, you have already won the war.
Right now.

Part Nine: Where has all the Magic Gone?

Coming to understand that "I am" is the engine of creation has worked
wonders in my life. When I began to pay attention to what I was
thinking and saying about myself and my circumstances, it shocked me.
It didn't take long to draw parallels from these thoughts to my
circumstances in life. So, I thought long and hard about the person I
wanted to be and the characteristics that I wanted to display. And I
began saying them in the "I am" context during my morning meditations.
I am compassionate, I am creative, I am understanding, I am patient, I
am in a job that allows me to be free. These ideas of myself became
ingrained in me and I started finding myself displaying these
characteristics in life. And then I really believed that I was these
things because well, I was. I saw it, I experienced it. And,
like an engine that continues to produce, my life began to flow from
these "I am" statements.

If you continue to make the effort to eliminate the negative beliefs
from your self-definition and consciously, purposefully empower
yourself with positive "I am" statements, you will see real magic come
into your world. I promise. "I am" statements, when they are really
believed and acted upon, can change your entire life. You can create a
new career for yourself, meet the perfect person, establish the
perfect relationship, get the best job, or whatever it is you truly
desire.

Now, that's what I call magic.

Part Eight: Where has all the Magic Gone?

Try it. Look out into the room and try to will something, anything, to
magically appear before you. You know, somewhere down deep in your
mind, that it wont really work. Right?

Well, I'm just like you. While I believe that someday in the
distant future humankind will be able to control their physical
universe, I don't believe that Ill ever be able to do
it. And so I wont.

But I do believe that a different kind of magic can be readily
performed in our lives. We may not be able to twitch our noses and
make things appear, but we can consciously, purposefully, "magically"
create the circumstances that we want to experience in our lives. And
we do this by our self-definition. Self-definition comes from the most
powerful tool each person holds" the phrase "I am."

The phrase "I am" is so powerful because it sets the creative process
in motion. "I am" is the engine of creation. It is pure belief
reacting with the energetic field of potentiality that results in
physical manifestation. Each one of us designs himself or herself by
the "I am" thought. When you think or say the phrase "I am," you will
experience whatever comes after that phrase. I cringe when I hear
people say things like, "I am so stupid!" or "I am so ugly." For you
own sake, catch yourself when these things pop into your mind. Relax.
Then restate your thought. Think, "I feel stupid right now, but I know
I'm not. I am an intelligent person that just made a mistake."

Part Seven: Where has all the Magic Gone?

When I say, "a thought rooted in truth" I am talking about belief.
Belief is defined in the American Heritage Dictionary as "the mental
acceptance of truth."

Think back to how magic was performed throughout history. Incantations
were chanted, spells were cast, elaborate potions were mixed. In
Jesus' case, prayers were said. Logically, we all know that
combining a list of disparate, and many times disgusting, things in a
big pot creates only a mess. So what created the magic? It was the
pure belief the person had in what they were doing. In other words,
if they were truly convinced that chanting the incantation, or saying
the spell, or prayer, or mixing the potion would produce the desired
effect, then it would. Jesus was able to feed five thousand people
with only two fish and five loaves of bread because he believed so
strongly, down in the very fiber of his being, that God would somehow
make it happen.

The ironic thing is that we are all magic, we are all creating our
circumstances at all times. And we do this through the beliefs we
hold. What we consider magic (creating something out of thin air,
levitating objects, instantly traveling from one place to another
without passing through the space between) is impossible for the
common person because we don't believe it to be possible. And
no matter how hard we try to convince ourselves that we can make an
object appear out of thin air, there is still a part of our mind that
does not believe it will really work. And that belief is the force
creating the experience and the reason nothing appears in front of
you.

Part Six: Where has all the Magic Gone?

So what does this all have to do with magic?

Everything.

My belief is that magic is simply the manipulation of this fundamental
energy of the universe. Lets use computer programs again as an
example. A computer program, at its fundamental level, is binary code
(ones and zeros). To manipulate the computer program, we would use a
computer language, which, at its basic level, is binary code. So, to
manipulate the ones and zeros, we would use a different form of the
same ones and zeros.

Similarly, to manipulate the energy of the physical universe, we would
use a different form of that same energy thought.
That's right, I believe that humans have the capacity to use
the power of their thought to create exactly what they want. But not
just thought alone, it has to be a certain kind of thought. We
cant just sit around our living rooms and think ourselves into
millions of dollars. Believe me, I know. I've tried it. It
doesn't work that way because the universe responds only to
truth. The universe is, in fact, an expression of truth. So, it is
the thought rooted in truth that reacts with the energetic field of
potentiality to bring about manifestation.

Part Five: Where has all the Magic Gone?

Have you ever looked at a fish and wondered if it knew that it was
swimming in water? A fish, especially a deep-sea fish, cannot
comprehend the concept of water. It is too uniformly immersed in the
water to detect its presence. As human beings, we are really no
different. We do not see the field of energy that our universe is
immersed in. Scientists call this the Zero Point Energy Field.
Everything in our universe, including the air we breathe and the light
we see, is made up of energy. Underlying the universe as we know it is
an energetic field from which all things seen and unseen spring. Yet
we are completely oblivious to this field of potentiality.

Physical matter is only one aspect of energy. Science has also shown
us that the activities of the human mind is also energy. The brain is
an electronic organ running at a certain electronic frequency. When I
say that the brain is electronic, I mean that it is electrically
powered and electricity generating. The brain is composed of an
estimated 100 billion neurons, each one producing and transmitting
electrical impulses resulting in an unimaginably complex electronic
network. The result of neurons transmitting electrical impulses
throughout a subset of the network is a thought. So, thought is also
energy. It is the same energy that makes up matter, just arranged in a
different pattern, reverberating in a different frequency.

Saturday, March 17, 2007

Part Four: Where has all the Magic Gone?

With science, we have found that everything physical is made up of
energy. Everything in the physical world, including the air we
breathe, is made up of atoms, which are made up of sub atomic
particles, which are really just packets of energy. This one basic,
fundamental energy combines in specific arrangements to create
infinite forms of matter much like binary code, ones and zeros,
arranged in specific patterns create an unlimited amount of computer
programs. Or, as another example, similar to the way twenty-six
letters forms the basis for a vast language.

The fact is, at its most basic level, the human body is no different
than a rock. Or a blade of grass. Or the martini we sip on after work.

Science has also discovered something phenomenal about our physical
universe. And that is the discovery of the Zero Point Energy Field, or
what many people call free energy. Zero Point Energy is the
fundamental energy field from which all physical matter springs. It is
the fabric of the universe from which all things are made. It is a
field of energy, of potentiality, ready to become molded into
physicality. It exists at every point of space, is everlasting, and
can never be destroyed nor consumed, only transformed.

The reality is that we all have access to this energy field. We are,
in fact, made of this energy from the Zero Point Field. So it seems
logical that we not only have access to it, but that we should be able
manipulate it consciously and purposefully. In other words, we should
be able to perform magic. Because if everything in the physical world
is made from this one basic energy, then magic is simply the
manipulation of that energy. Right? To make a computer program
"appear" out of thin air, I simply would arrange ones and zeros, which
already exist, into a specific pattern. Voila. Magic.

So how do we do it? How do we access the fundamental energy of the
universe and manipulate it for our purpose?
