Awaken Your Inner Power Results - Part Three

Well now I am getting the most unusual manifesting abundance result I have seen.
Pennies.
Everywhere I go, there seem to be pennies laying at my feet.
Sometimes two or three at a time, but almost every time I go out, I find pennies laying on the ground/floor.

So is this the beginning of attraction?
Is it pennies because my prosperity mind-set hasn't gotten high enough yet?
Is this a sign that I am on the right path?

By the way, since this is Christmas time, when I find a lot of pennies in one store, I have been donating them to the Salvation Army bell ringers outside of the store when I come out.
I am keeping track of my running totals though for the three per cent donation.

In addition to the "Om Guru Namasivaya Dram Dattatreya Siva Baba Namaha" mantra, I have added a Neville Goddard technique of counting money.
Visualizing that I am counting out a stack of one hundred dollars bills.
You can do it with any denomination, just close your eyes, count out the money and imagine you are counting out any amount you wish.
You can even cut pieces of paper to the size of currency and count them out, imaging that it is real money.
Just believe that it is the amount you want.
Of course this helps with thinking from the end, because you are telling yourself that you already have the money.

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
Mark 11:24

Of course back then it was easier to "believe that ye receive them" because you didn't have everyone and everything telling you that you haven't received them.
I think that is why we have to condition our minds so much now, to fight the constant bombardment of negative input we get everyday.

When you watch the news, read the paper etc, all you see and hear is "The economy is bad, we are all doomed".
If you go back to Neville's early teaching (and many of the other New Thought teachers) , that was the same mindset people had when he was lecturing.
So his techniques are designed to operate under these circumstances.
Because...

"That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun."
Ecclesiastes 1:9

Neville Goddard Backed Up By Science?

I was looking at the article about Creating God in one's own image over at Science Blogs.com
And a thought occurred to me.
Actually it occurred to me when I read this....

"The brain scans found the same thing, particularly in a region called the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) that's been linked to self-referential thinking. The mPFC is more active when we think about our own mindsets than those of others. Epley found that it was similarly abuzz when the recruits thought about their own attitude or God's, but lower when they considered the average American. The three images below show the differences in brain activity between the three tasks and you can see that the 'God' and 'self' scans had little to distinguish them.
The results suggest that similar parts of the brain are involved when we consider our own beliefs and those of God - Epley thinks this is why we end up inferring a deity's attitudes based on those we hold ourselves."

Now instead of igniting a whole firestorm of religious belief questioning (like the article seems to have done on some forums) it made me think....
Is this not scientific back up for what Neville Goddard taught?

That God is within us and acts through our human imagination?

"you can see that the 'God' and 'self' scans had little to distinguish them."

So if the scans find little difference between God and self.....
Well, I think if you read Neville, or have studied him much, that sentence does nothing to shake your belief in God.

Awaken Your Inner Power Results - Part Two

I have been doing the "Om Guru Namasivaya Dram Dattatreya Siva Baba Namaha" mantra for manifesting abundance now for around two months.
So far I have gotten sixty one dollars and three cents out of the blue.

So now, next month I actually CAN donate that three percent to his foundation.

Again though I have to point out, that I haven't received the hundreds or thousands that I have seen claimed.
BUT, some money has come in, unasked for.
And again, I like the way Dattatreya set this up.
You don't send in any money unless it works.
Compare that to the manifesting prosperity teachers that say "Give me $199.99 (or more), and I'll show you how to manifest money".

I'm afraid that the manifesting wealth circles have turned into the feeding grounds for con men.
Like I have said many times before, if I ran across a sure fire method for attracting abundance, I'd let everyone know...for free.
Because if I am manifesting abundance for myself easily, why ask you for money?

"Hey I can manifest a car or a house easily! Send me the money that you don't have, and I'll teach you to do it too!"
The law of attraction states that like attracts like... right?
Then if I help other people, the universe will help me...correct?

Why does Samuel L Jackson's speech from Pulp Fiction keep popping into my head as I write this?
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Yeah I know it's not really in the Bible like that, but I keep hearing that when I think about some of the "teachers" out there.

Wow...I must really sound like the most cynical "positive thinking" person in the world huh?

I guess it's because I have been reading a lot of Neville Goddard lately, and although Neville is definitely not a "wrath of God" kinda guy, he does talk a lot about bearing your brother's burdens.
When someone is in trouble, you don't ask him (or her) for money, you help them.
Neville's way was to picture that person as gainfully employed, healthy, happy, whatever they needed.
To me, that is shepherding the weak.

EFT and the Law of Attraction, Final Report

Okay, I started the EFT and the Law of Attraction experiment on July 22, 2009.
It's August 12th right now so I have been tapping for 22 days.
Results?
None.
Nope, not a thing happened.
I tried it for 3 weeks and I can see no change in "my reality" at all.
Should you try it?
Sure, just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it wont work for you.
All I can do is tell you my experience with it.
(And to all you people out there saying "Sabre? What did you expect? You were just tapping on your head!" I say "Pfffft!" LOL)

So whats up next?
Well I plan to try the Joseph Murphy techniques.
I guess the next entry will be Joseph Murphy and the Law of Attraction.
I'll use the methods he describes and see what changes in my reality happen.

BTW, the EFT did seem to relax me.
So I have to go on the record saying it is good for that.
And if anyone has tried it and gotten different results, please let us know.
But please say exactly what you did so I can compare what you did to what I did and see if I can come up with a reason one technique works and another doesnt.

Supreme Mastery of Fear by Joseph Murphy

Supreme Mastery of Fear by Joseph Murphy

From: Supreme Mastery of Fear by Joseph Murphy....

Who is your Lord and master this very moment?

Your Lord is your predominant, mental attitude; it is your conviction or belief about yourself, people, and things; this Lord can be a tyrant. For example, if your mood is now one of resentment, that is your Lord or tyrant that governs all of your actions and all phases of your life. If you want to invest some money, buy a new home, or some property, while in this attitude, you will do the wrong thing and say the wrong thing, because your predominant mood is negative. The law is: "As within, so without." You are fearing your good, and you would react negatively. Fear is a lack of faith or trust in God, which is a denial of His Omnipotence.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation." The Lord" referred to is the Lord God, or the law of God or good. To put the law of good into operation, -thereby banishing fear once and for all, -enthrone in your mind the thoughts of power, courage, and confidence. These thoughts will generate a corresponding mood or feeling, which will banish the arch enemy of your success and health.

Sri Siva manifesting techniques versus the Neville Goddard manifesting

I have been field testing the Sri Siva manifesting techniques versus the Neville Goddard manifesting techniques and here is my verdict.

When I switched, it seemed like everything went to hell in a hand basket.
Things that were getting better seemed to, no scratch that, GOT worse.
Maybe it was the old switching horses in midstream thing.

But anyway, I personally am going back to Neville's techniques.
I'm not saying the Ahhh and Ara Kara doesn't work.
I'm just telling you what happened with me.

As far as how long did I try it, well when you skydive and pull a ripcord, if that chute doesn't open, you don't just keep pulling the same one over and over HOPING it will work. You hit the emergency chute!

Neville said try his techniques, I did, and for me they work better.
If you have a different situation, please post it. I really hate for this blog to be one sided, I try to give a variety of view points on manifesting and manifesting techniques.
But right now Neville is 1 and 0 with me.

What is the Flow ? Part 4

This way of life requires paying attention to meaningful coincidence.
Caylor, for example, could have disregarded his dream and turned down
the Denver job. But over time he had developed a strong respect for
what he considers signs from the Universe, both subtle and
unmistakable. He has learned that by paying attention to these signs,
he reaches new levels of comprehension about his inner life and his
role in the world.

"Synchronicity is lyrical - a little sprite of a surprise, a little
gift," he says. "It can get so big that everything can start to talk
to you; everything can suggest things. When you enter that dimension,
synchronicity becomes part of your self-definition."

Think of the times synchronicity has happened in your life. It might
be when you thought of someone and the phone rang with that person on
the other end. Maybe you ran across someone from home in a faraway
place when you were feeling lonely, or the same number repeated itself
at significant times, or unlikely events dramatically converged to
save you in a tight spot.

When you experience flow on a daily basis, synchronicities such as
these are as natural to you as breathing. Although by its very nature,
synchronicity cannot be created, controlled, or planned, when you live
a life of flow, you can practically depend on synchronicity to show
up.

What is the Flow ? Part 3

Most of us have had experiences of being in flow. In those times, we
know we're in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
We feel both exhilarated and at peace, somehow connected to something
larger and greater than ourselves. Life is rich with meaning, magic
and purpose. We feel vital, alive, joyful. But for most of us, it
doesn't happen often enough or for long enough. We feel glimmerings of
flow, and then they fade away.

This doesn't have to be the case: people like Caylor have learned to
make flow their way of life, the rule rather than the exception. The
way they do it is through synchronicity -- those meaningful
coincidences in which outside events, seemingly disconnected in time
and space, link up with our internal states and connect us with the
greater whole.

When synchronicity happens, people like Caylor follow the direction it
seems to indicate - and then they watch synchronicity happen more and
more. They know they are deeply in flow when synchronicity is sparking
all around them. By using synchronicity for guidance, confirmation,
and validation, their lives become a dance of energy with the
Universe, a give-and-take with their environment that fills their days
with insight and zest.

What is the Flow ? Part 2

Caylor wears no wings, sees no auras. But to him, life works in
magical and surprising ways when he's connected to a deeper force in
the Universe - and he knows he's connected because he feels it
physically, as a soft, warm feeling inside that links him to a sweet
expansiveness. When he's in that state, he experiences meaningful
coincidence after meaningful coincidence. "They add magic to my life,
and tell me that the action I'm taking is safe and true and right," he
says. And they point the way to new opportunities: "Although I loved
Austin, I was starting to feel bored and a little stuck professionally
and personally," he says now. "I thought that Denver might open the
way in my life to some Important changes."

Caylor lives in flow - and through it he has come into a fuller, truer
existence. Flow is the natural, effortless unfolding of our lives in a
way that moves us toward wholeness and harmony. When we are in flow,
occurences line up, events fall into place, and obstacles melt away.
Rather than life being a meaningless struggle, it is permeated with a
deep sense of purposefulness and order. Flow has tremendous power to
transform our lives, for it is dynamic and moves us unerringly toward
joy and aliveness.

What is Flow?

What is Flow?

Flow is the natural, effortless unfolding of our lives
in a way that moves us toward wholeness and harmony.

Introduction to "The Power of Flow"
by Charlene Belitz and Meg Lundstrom

Awakening one morning in his sunny Austin bedroom, Caylor Wadlington
heard himself saying out loud, "So I'm moving to Denver?" The words
were part exclamation, part question, and they woke him up completely.
As surprised as he was, he also experienced a happy, pleasurable
feeling. But by the next day, he had dismissed the whole thing as just
an odd dream. After all, he was cozily ensconced in Austin, where he
had lived eight years, and he knew hardly a soul in Denver.

Then, out of the blue came a phone call from an officer of his
national professional association, who invited Caylor to participate
in a week-long work meeting - in Denver. Hmmm. . . .maybe there is
something to this, Caylor thought, and without further hesitation he
said yes.

In Denver, after the meeting ended, Caylor was chatting with another
participant, a man who ran a school in the city. "Caylor, if you ever
want to live here, I'd like to hire you to teach for me," he said.
Caylor thanked him calmly, but inside he was stunned: This is amazing!
Walls are coming down to open the way for me to move here!

To leave Austin, however, would require selling a professional
business that was so specialized he figured it would take at least a
year to find a buyer. Quietly beginning to look around, Caylor invited
a friend to Sunday brunch and, over coffee and pastries, laid out the
prospect. His friend was not interested, but just as he said no, a
colleague of theirs walked in. Caylor had not thought of him as a
buyer, but struck by the timing, he told him his business was for
sale. The colleague was more than interested - he was thrilled.
"Don't tell another soul!" he said excitedly. "I definitely want it."
This seems to be happening all by itself, mused Caylor. Then he
received a letter from his landlord: Caylor's condominium was going to
be put on the market. A dream, an opportunity, an offer, the boot -
the message was unmistakable. Caylor willingly closed down his life in
charming Austin, and moved to Denver.
