The Belief in Scarcity
The belief that hard work is the only way to attain something usually comes from some old belief system which says "I can only be worthy of having something if I work for it. There has to be some exchange on my part, otherwise it wouldn't be fair of me to have it, because there
are so many others who are lacking." But these sorts of beliefs are just self defeating, and self limiting. There is an infinite amount of creative energy, and anything that is wanted can come to you without depriving anyone else! The only reason anyone is not prosperous, for
example, is the belief that it isn't possible for them. There are many reasons for this, chief among them the idea that we live on a planet of scarcity and that there is only so much to go around. Well, that may seem true, but we have manifested economies of scarcity
because of our consciousness of lack, not the other way around. The consciousness of mankind is a perfect vibrational match to scarcity and our economies reflect this vibration.
Mankind has such a belief in not-enough-ness that he will fight anyone who claims otherwise! There is such a prevalent belief in most people of their inherent unworthiness, that most do not bother to exercise their powerful creative potential. The earth could be abundant for
all, if only all would ask with the certainty that their asking would be answered! The universal law of 'like attracts like' is so powerful that our fossil fuel economies, based upon scarcity, could be transformed into economies based on the clean energy technologies that
are waiting in the wings. But so many people are into bashing oil companies and fighting against pollution that the vibration of clean and abundant energy is not a match to the present consciousness on planet earth. But it doesn't have to be that way!
As Jesus said, 'Ask and ye shall receive.' The only catch to this, is that when you ask, you do so from a place that feels good, not from an attitude of resistance.
