I think my mind gets used to things and kind of "runs dry" after using one thing too long.
In looking around, I ran across Genevieve Behrend.
Born in Paris, France in 1881, Genevieve Behrend was the only student of legendary New Thought author Thomas Troward.
Genevieve, like a lot of other New Thought practioners back then, knew some of the greats.
She studied met Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science but left her studies there after awhile.
She then met the eldest son of Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, Abdul Baha.
Abdul gave her direction saying that she would "travel the world over seeking the truth, and when she had found it, would speak it out".
After that she ran across the teachings of Thomas Troward and decided that was the way she wanted to go.
But he was in England and she was in New York.
So she had to get the money to go there.
And she did, manifesting $20,000.00 basically out of thin air.
Genevieve details in her book Your Invisible Power how she did it.
She memorized passages from Troward's The Dore Lectures on Mental Science.....
"My mind is a centre of Divine operation.
The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression, and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in the past experience, though proceeding out of it by an orderly sequence or growth.
Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner with me; consequently, in my own special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before."
And in a vein similar to what Neville Goddard would later teach, she visualized count out the money, buying the tickets and getting on the boat, twice a day every day.
In six weeks she had the money.
You can find her books, "Your Invisible Power" and "Attaining Your Heart's Desire" many places online for free.
There are even several audio versions of "Your Invisible Power" online....like this....
